 It was very windy and chilly all day.  We spent the morning and part of the afternoon at the Berlin Zoo.  The zoo ahs been brought back to its pre-WWII level and it is massive and very well laid out.  We had an enjoyable 4 hours strolling around looking at the animals.  The wind calmed a bit and the sun came out as we left the zoo so we went to the Polish Fest to have lunch and watch a different kind of animal acting up.  It was a lot of fun.  That evening we ate at a restaurant on a back street that we had found the previous day, had a wonderful dinner and went back to the Polish Fest for entertainment.
