We flew from Santorini to Athens where a car from Regent was waiting to take us to the ship in Piraeus, the port city for Athens. We boarded at noon and saw quite a few familiar faces. The Captain, Felice Patruno, whom we've known several years, greeted us on the pool deck. We also saw several friends from past cruises. After the safety drill we met up with several people who use the same travel agent and had cocktails in the Observation Lounge as we sailed away. After a late dinner Pat donated some money to the casino before retiring for the night.
